SovereignMan -- Florida :: Blog :: Ag Workers Amnesty tied to Iraq War Spending Bill

May 19, 2008

This situation with the Feinstein/Craig Ag Workers Amensty amendment that is attached to the Iraq War Appropriations Bill is really too much for me to take.  This is The Bush Administration at its finest.  Now El Presidente Jorge Arbusto will get both some more blood money and an amnesty program.  Really, that is all he ever wanted.  He probably would have just gone back to the ranch a long time ago if we would have just shut up and let him have it sooner.

The staff of "Fidel Mel" Martinez were playing dumb when I contacted them this afternoon insisting that this is not amnesty and our economy is going to suffer without this labor.  Of course when I suggest that if that was the case why do the workers need spouses and children along for the ride on the taxpayers ticket?

When I contacted Minority Leader McConnels office I made it clear that this is an eternal issue.  If the Republican Party allows for any Amnesty program to go through I will NEVER vote Republican again, period.  Best part of it is they don't care because all they care about is $$$$ and they are going to have the bank account filled up by the time they all become losers and the party goes the way of the Whigs.  And as far as how little regard I now have for the Republican Party I have much less for the lower than whale s _ _ _ global socialist party who with such gross disrespect of American history refer to themselves as Democrats.

Hope all of you are making those calls, sending those e-mails and letting others know about the latest Amnesty Against America Act!

  1. Thanks for your post, SovereignMan.  Yes, this latest attempt really angers all of us.  It is such a betrayal of the American citizens.  But, as I have said so many times, THE reason is because of the plan for the North American Union.  These elites are trying to FORCE our countries to integrate, to bring in the New World Order.

  2. Good News!  This morning a staffer here at Fidel Mel's office told me he would vote against the Ag Labor Amnesty if it came to the floor.  No doubt there has been a shift in position here based on the tone of staffers when discusing the issue (have to factor in that they quite frequently have their own bias as well and it comes across in their tone of voice, responses etc.).  However, in this case I have talked with the young man on numerous occasions and can read him fairly well.  Honestly, I don't think the Senators thought there would be such an outcry and they could help each other out in the never ending quest to get reelected as I clearly see a quid pro quo of Amnesty for Liberals and Iraq War Spending for Conservatives.  See how it works when everyone wins what they need to spin back home.

Now that Amnesty is out it will be interesting to see if the debate gets geared toward driving down the spending authorization.  I have not yet heard a single word of note concerning the amount of money to be allocated to the war effort.  But that was then when a trade was on the table.
